NOt yourTypical Agency

We’re part creative studio, part business think tank, part technology playground, and entirely obsessed with helping good ideas become better businesses.

Based in Tennessee’s Upper Cumberland, Pixel Junkie brings strategy, marketing, design, AI, and a healthy disregard for “that’s how we’ve always done it” to businesses ready to do something different.

Big Ideas. Real Businesses. No Corporate Nonsense.

Real People. Actual Conversations.

Pixel Junkie started with a pretty simple philosophy: every business has a story worth telling.

That hasn’t changed. But we’ve learned a thing or two along the way.

A great story won’t fix a broken business model. A beautiful website isn’t worth much if nobody visits it. And the latest AI technology isn’t going to save your business if nobody can explain what it’s supposed to accomplish.

That’s why Pixel Junkie has grown into something considerably bigger than a traditional design and marketing agency.

Founded by Johnny Blayze, Pixel Junkie brings more than two decades of creative, entrepreneurial, marketing, and business experience to the table. We’ve been on the other side of that table, too — launching businesses, building organizations, developing brands, creating events, managing projects, and discovering firsthand that running a business rarely goes according to the brochure.

Today, we combine that experience with modern technology, practical AI applications, and creative thinking to help entrepreneurs and organizations solve real problems.

We’re based in Spencer, Tennessee, and deeply connected to the Upper Cumberland communities around us. From the contractor working out of a pickup truck to the nonprofit trying to change its community, we believe good ideas deserve the tools, strategy, and attention to become great ones.

And while we love working with our neighbors, geography has never been much of a limitation. We work with clients nationwide, too.

A Different Kind of Business Partner.

01

Strategy Before Stuff

We're perfectly happy to build you a website, design a logo, or launch a marketing campaign. But first, we want to know what you're trying to accomplish.

Sometimes the solution isn't what you originally came looking for. We'd rather have an honest conversation about that than sell you something you don't need.

02

Creative Thinking. Practical Execution

Good ideas are everywhere. Making them work is another story.

We bring together branding, marketing, business development, technology, and a little unconventional thinking to create solutions that actually do something.

Because pretty is nice. Useful is better.

03

Technology That Earns Its Keep

AI, automation, and emerging technology can do some pretty remarkable things. They can also create expensive, complicated solutions to problems nobody actually had.

We help businesses separate the genuinely useful from the unnecessarily shiny, putting technology to work where it saves time, creates opportunities, and makes running a business a little less ridiculous.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We believe in asking better questions, challenging assumptions, and building something that makes sense for the business in front of us.

Sometimes that means creating something new. Sometimes it means fixing what’s already there.

And sometimes it means telling you that you don’t need to spend any money at all.

Good Questions Deserve Straight Answers.

Marketing, technology, and business consulting can get complicated fast. Working with us shouldn’t be. Here are a few things you might want to know before we start talking.

We’re a creative and strategic business partner that works at the intersection of business development, marketing, branding, web development, and AI technology.

Sometimes we’re your marketing department. Sometimes we’re your web designer. Sometimes we’re the outside perspective helping you figure out why something isn’t working.

And occasionally we’re the people who take a half-crazy idea scribbled on a napkin and help turn it into an actual business.

Not even close.

We work with entrepreneurs who haven’t launched yet, established companies looking to grow, nonprofits working with limited resources, and business owners who just need somebody experienced to help them figure out their next move.

If you’re building something, improving something, or trying to figure something out, we’re interested in the conversation.

Collaborative. Conversational. Occasionally a little unconventional.

We call our approach productive co-dependency. You understand your business better than anyone. We bring outside perspective, experience, creative thinking, and the tools to help put ideas into action.

We ask questions, develop a plan together, and get to work. You’ll understand what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and what we’re trying to accomplish.

No mysterious agency magic required.

Absolutely not. In fact, some of our favorite conversations start with, “I’ve got this idea…” or “Something about my business just isn’t working.”

Tell us what’s going on. We’ll ask questions, kick around some possibilities, and help figure out the next step.

If we can help, great. If we think somebody else would be a better fit, we’ll tell you that, too.

Got an Idea? A Problem? A Wildly Ambitious Plan?
Good. We like those. Tell us what you're working on. We'll figure out where to go from there.
